Step #1
Drain the system by turning off the water supply and then shutting the main water supply. Open all the faucets to drain all the remaining water in the pipeline.

Choose a brass fitting thread and install the water in and water out port per the manufacturer’s manual. Use Teflon tape to seal the pipes. Take care, not to over tighten. Hold the filter on the set water line and tighten the compression nuts. Tighten all the fittings using a wrench.

Position and fix the water filter with the in port that is closest to the water meter and the outport closest to the water heater. Reversing this arrangement will mean that the water filter will not work correctly.
Step #7
Check the installation for any leaks by turning on the filter valve. Change the settings to filter and let the waterfall inside the filter tank. Recheck the fittings for any leaks.
