I also want to point out that to clean a countertop ice maker you can pour a little lime juice into the water container as a disinfectant. I have a tiny two-room house, that’s why I always try to buy multifunctional and compact appliances. I’ve got a PRETTY BASIC fridge without an ice maker, so I used to do ice trays. It was fine at first, but took sooo long.... Then I tried buying bags of ice, but they just took up most of the freezer. Besides, I often got tennis ball-sized lumps that melted and refroze together😲. So scratch that, need to look for something else.. And thank God my brother suggested to just get a countertop ice maker and stop with all this hustling. Looking over your offers and analyzing all of mentioned above, I eventually decided to buy a Frigidaire EFIC-102. To be honest, I wasn’t disappointed. This machine makes ice cubes. It works well. Bear in mind, if you buy this one, you will have to refill it with water every time you need ice. No complaints.
