Various materials are used for making these kitchen utensils. Now, many of you out there know about aluminum and stainless steel tools and gadgets. But what about clad? What is the cladding in the first place? Cladding is a process that combines different metals and bonds them. In the case of these vessels, they are made of both stainless steel and aluminum. Therefore, they combine the advantages of both. The All-Clad copper core vessels are made in a way that there is a thick layer of aluminum between two thin stainless still layers joined together by very high temperature. Both people who are cooking at home, and professional cooks like copper core stainless steel cookware because it comes with durability, non-reactivity, and corrosion resistance of steel and ideal heat distribution of aluminum.

This cookware is known for its five layers of metal, like other All-Clad Utensils. It comes with a combination of aluminum and stainless steel and copper in the middle. Copper has the functions of a conductor, so the heat is perfectly evenly distributed. Stainless steel that includes 18 % chromium and 10 % nickel won’t react with food in any way regardless of what you are cooking. What is also ideal about this material is that it is exceptionally durable and easy to clean. It is dishwasher safe. As we mentioned, both copper and aluminum are perfect heat conductors.

When it comes to the design of All-Clad copper cookware, it is necessary to point out that all the metals are arranged together like a sandwich. The company did this because it enables perfect heat distribution without the risk that some parts will be overheated while others remain relatively cool. Because of the stainless bottom, the utensils are compatible with induction cooking. As far as appearance goes, they are made the same as any other vessels except stainless steel makes them more attractive.
